Upon arrival at the Nairobi Airport, you shall be met by our company representatives who will then conduct a short briefing on the tour before departing Nairobi for Tsavo National Park. Arriving for late lunch at the Lodge. Later in the afternoon you will have a game drive. This vast park is home to the famous man-eater lions, the big 5, giraffes, African Bush elephants, mongooses, etc including hundreds of different species of birds. On this day, you shall spend it on the vast Tsavo plains in search of the game. Tsavo provides an opportunity to practically come close to the largest extant animals, black maned lions, leopards, cheetahs, herds of elephants and virtually all other wild animals. From ostriches to vultures the park has hundreds of species of birds that can be seen. Overnight stay and meals at Lodge.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart Tsavo East and head to Tsavo West National Park. You will check in at Lodge and have lunch before departing in the afternoon to visit a rhino sanctuary. Upon returning to the lodge for the evening, you may be lucky enough to see leopards, elephants, lions and other wild animals. The park is also well known for its numerous species of birds. After breakfast, you will depart for an extensive game drive at Tsavo West National Park in search of its popular residents, including well-known predators, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos. During the day, you will enjoy a packed lunch. You shall be accommodated at the Lodge on a Full Board meal plan.
After an early morning game drives you will return to the lodge for breakfast before leaving for Amboseli National Park. You will check in to Amboseli Sopa Lodge and have lunch then a leisure break at the lodge. You'll end the day with an evening game drive, looking out at the peak of Kilimanjaro which may be seen in clear weather from the Observation Hill. Large herds of elephants and hippos can be seen bathing in swampy grounds whose water source is Mt. Kilimanjaro. All meals and your overnight stay will be at the Lodge.
After breakfast, enjoy a further game drive where plains game including zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and various antelopes can be seen. You will later have lunch and leisure break at the camp or lodge. Then our day will end with an evening game drive, looking out for the peak of Kilimanjaro which may be seen in clear weather from the Observation Hill. After breakfast at the Lodge, this morning we depart Amboseli for Nakuru; check in at the Lodge. An evening game drive through park with an opportunity to see big cats hunting, thousands of flamingoes and other species of birds. The park is also known for rhinos, giraffes, different species of antelopes and other 56 different species of mammals and over 450 species of birds. Today we shall spend the whole day in the park in search of the game. Lake Nakuru houses Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and one of the largest concentrations of black rhinoceros in the world a large population of white rhino. The park features the picturesque Malaika Waterfalls. Also of interest is an area of 188 km around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes. Among predators are lion, leopard and large pythons hiding in the dense woodlands which may occasionally be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees. Others game include Thomson’s and Grant gazelle, the long- eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, and waterbuck; Impala, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wildcat, reedbuck and golden cat. An early morning breakfast at the lodge before departing from Nakuru to Masai Mara National Park arriving in the afternoon. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-mane lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya including over 478 species of birds all shall be part of our evening game drive. Full days spent for viewing the great predators and explore the parks amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During the stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge on Full Board meal plan.
After breakfast, depart Mara for Nairobi with lunch enroute, arriving later in the afternoon. Drop off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi in good time to check in for your onward flight.
