Day 1 Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

Pick up from Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport upon arrival by our representatives. After the meet and greet and briefings, you shall leave Nairobi for Nakuru. Upon arrival in Nakuru, you shall check in to the Lodge. This journey goes through the beautiful landscape of the Great Rift Valley escarpments. We shall have an afternoon game drive through the park which is home to thousands of flamingos and over 400 species of birds. The park is a habitat of the endangered rhinos, giraffes, zebras, different antelopes, African rock pythons and other reptiles, lions, leopards etc. Lake Nakuru houses Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and one of the largest concentrations of black rhinoceros in the world a large population of white rhino. The park features the picturesque Malaika Waterfalls. Also of interest is an area of 188 km around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes. Meals and overnight stay at the Lodge. Full Board Meal Plan.

Day 2 Full day Exploring Lake Nakuru National Park

Today we shall spend the whole day in the park in search of the game, with early morning game drives starting off your day. Lake Nakuru houses Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and one of the largest concentrations of black rhinoceros in the world a large population of white rhino. The park features the picturesque Malaika Waterfalls. Also of interest is an area of 188 km around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes.  Among predators are lion, leopard and large pythons hiding in the dense woodlands which may occasionally be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees. Others game include Thomson’s and Grant gazelle, the long- eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, and waterbuck; Impala, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wildcat, reedbuck and golden cat. Overnight stay at the Lodge on a Full Board Meal plan.

Day 3 Nakuru – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast you will depart Nakuru for Ol Pejeta arriving in the afternoon. Check in at the Camp for lunch and an immediate game drive is taken. All members of the "Big five game" (lionCape buffaloAfrican bush elephantAfrican leopard and rhinoceros) can be found on the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Both black and white rhino thrive here. Other rare animals that can be found on Ol Pejeta include the endangered African wild dogoryxJackson’s hartebeestGrevy’s zebraservalcheetah and bat-eared fox. The more common African wildlife can be found too, including giraffesvervet monkeysbaboonshipposimpalaelandGrant's gazelledik-dikplains zebrasilver backed jackalhyena. There are also over 300 bird species on the Conservancy. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp on Full Board.

Day 4 Full Day in Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Today you will explore exotic Sweetwater’s sanctuary on two extensive game runs. Our camp also overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the area and offers elephant, giraffe and myriad plains game. This is Africa as Teddy Roosevelt saw it years ago when he led one of the first safaris to tour Africa in comfort and splendor. Meals and overnight at Camp.

Day 5 Ol Pejeta – Meru National Park

After breakfast at the Camp, today we leave Ol Pejeta for Meru National Park arriving in good time for check in and lunch at Ikweta Safari Camp. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive through Meru National Park. The park teems with a variety of wildlife species including elephant, Grevy’s zebra, lion, cheetah, leopard, hartebeest, hippo, buffalo and the reticulated giraffe among others. Meru hosts a rhino sanctuary that is home to the endangered black and white rhino species. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp on Full Board.

Day 6 Full Day Exploring Meru National Park

An early game drives before breakfast at the Camp. After a short relaxation, you will head out for an extensive game drives. Bird life is also exceptionally diverse with over 400 bird species recorded. These include Peter’s Fin foot, inhabiting the Murera and Ura rivers; Pel’s fishing owl, kingfishers, rollers, bee-eaters, starlings and weavers. The rivers abound with hippo populations, crocodiles, and fish. The park is also famous as the setting for Joy Adamson’s book ‘Born Free”, the story of the Adamson’s life and research amongst lions and cheetahs. Elsa the lioness was the most well-known and her grave is marked inside the park.

Day 7 Full Day Exploring Meru National Park

Breakfast at the Camp, relax. Mid-morning leave Meru for Nairobi arriving in the evening and be transferred to Nairobi International Airport for your onward flight.

    I am 6 feet tall and 220 lbs. This shirt fit me perfectly in the chest and shoulders. My only complaint is that it is so long! I like to wear polo shirts untucked. This shirt goes completely past my rear end. If I wore it with ordinary shorts, you probably wouldnt be able to see the shorts at all – completely hidden by the shirt. It needs to be 4 to 5 inches shorter in terms of length to suit me. I have many RL polo shirts, and this one is by far the longest. I dont understand why.

    The shirt was not the fabric I believed it to be. It says Classic Fit but was made like the older versions, not the soft cotton like my others. I don’t understand how the labels are the same but a completely different shirt. Oh well, stuck with it now.
