Day 1 Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

Approximately 343 km North East of Nairobi lies the Samburu and Buffalo Springs National Reserves arriving for late lunch at the Lodge. A drive through the Rift Valley and the highlands takes you to this reserves which are unparalleled in Kenya for the number and diversity of its game. After lunch, time to relax before heading out on a game viewing drive. The Reserve is well known for large herds of elephants, giraffes, grevy’s zebras, leopards, buffalos, wild dogs etc and numerous species of birds. Meals and overnight stay at the Lodge on Full Board plan.

Day 2 Samburu & Buffalo Springs National Reserve

After breakfast you will head to the reserve for morning game drives and later for an afternoon drives. Among the wildlife are the various antelopes and all the Big Five (i.e. Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo). After your extensive game drives you will return to the Lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Samburu - Aberdares National Park

After breakfast, depart for Nyeri arriving in time for lunch at the Treetops Hotel. Aberdares National Park is home to several species of birds and other wild animals including elephants, leopards, buffalos etc. Treetops or the Ark, which are strategically situated for night game viewing during which wild animals especially elephants are spotted drinking from the waterholes just outside the hotel . Overnight stay at the Treetops Lodge on Full Board plan.

Day 4 & 5 Aberdares - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast leave Aberdares National Park and proceed through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at the Lodge. An afternoon game drive takes us round the Lake; home of the famous pink flamingo. Lake Nakuru houses Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and one of the largest concentrations of black rhinoceros in the world a large population of white rhino. The park features the picturesque Malaika Waterfalls. Also of interest is an area of 188 km around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes. Among predators are lion, leopard and large pythons hiding in the dense woodlands which may occasionally be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees. Others game include Thomson’s and Grant gazelle, the long- eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, and waterbuck; Impala, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wildcat, reedbuck and golden cat. Overnight stay at the Lodge on Full Board Plan.

Day 6 Nakuru - Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will wake up for an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for your breakfast. After breakfast you will depart Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara National Park arriving in time for late lunch at the Lodge. After checking in your lodge you will settle down for your lunch. After lunch you will have a short time to relax before you head for an afternoon game drive in this top class game reserve. You will do your game drive till late in the evening before you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Maasai Mara National Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drives are provided. Among the wildlife seen are wildebeest, black rhino, cheetah, giraffe, elephant, great herds of antelope and fascinating primates such as the red-tailed monkey. Game drives in open land rovers and bush walks with excellent resident guides and naturalists reveal the wonders of the Mara in an interpretative experience for you. Meals and overnight stay at the Lodge on Full Board plan.

Day 8 Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Full day spent for viewing the great predators and explore the parks amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During the stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 9 Maasai Mara - Nairobi

After breakfast, we leave Mara for Nairobi via Narok and ascend the escarpment to the Central Highlands. Arriving later in the afternoon. Transfer to the airport or hotel of stay.

    I am 6 feet tall and 220 lbs. This shirt fit me perfectly in the chest and shoulders. My only complaint is that it is so long! I like to wear polo shirts untucked. This shirt goes completely past my rear end. If I wore it with ordinary shorts, you probably wouldnt be able to see the shorts at all – completely hidden by the shirt. It needs to be 4 to 5 inches shorter in terms of length to suit me. I have many RL polo shirts, and this one is by far the longest. I dont understand why.

    The shirt was not the fabric I believed it to be. It says Classic Fit but was made like the older versions, not the soft cotton like my others. I don’t understand how the labels are the same but a completely different shirt. Oh well, stuck with it now.
